Our research activities are mainly concerned with (i) the chemistry of hypervalent iodine compounds as novel reagents for modern metal-free organic synthesis, (ii) the total synthesis of natural products of various classes, and (iii) the chemistry and chemical biology of bioactive plant polyphenols, including investigations on their biogenesis, their interactions with cellular proteins, as well as their impact on the chemical profile of wines… Cheers !
